we are now displaying forum times in "pacific time"
which is -7 or -8 (depending on silly, but nice for sun, US daylight savings time).

we *had* been displaying GMT/UTC for the last 3+ months,
but people didn't like that.

i can add a "PDT" (or "PST") to forum post times, possibly?

otherwise, i think i'd need something like javascript to determine the client requestor's timezone (or minimally find something in the HTTP request header) to know what
time zone y'all are in...

sorry tracey - i was vague in my question. i realize my posts do show up pretty much with the same speed they always have.

just curious why the posts or replies send me back to the "blank" post page as if i never wrote anything and the "Cancel" is always highlighted. It appears as though one didn't reply or post after hitting send, but i realize it does.
Does that jibber-jabber make any sense?? sorry if im not explaining myself well - my fault.

hey, late reply.

i think posts can appear "blank" for a bit due to some
short-term caching (of around 10 minutes or so)
of some forum posts pages...
